The upcoming live-action film adaptation of Bleach will open in Japan next summer.

It may be a while since you’ve sat back with a new episode of Bleach or a new movie, but the series is coming back in a big way —- with a live-action movie! One of the longest-running anime shounen epics is returning in 2018 with its Japanese theater debut, and there’s a brief teaser out in the wild you can take in right now.

Of course, the teaser trailer is just that. It’s 30 seconds of a brief look at main character Ichigo Kurosaki and his massive sword. He looks tense as he faces off against a Hollow (a ghost, essentially) and then we get some information about when the film is debuting. It’s just enough to get any faithful Bleach fan excited about the future, though.

Additional information about the movie will be revealed on Friday.
