The iPhone 8 is only two months away from debuting in September, but rumors about it are still swirling around at rapid pace. The latest news about what features it will include comes from KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, who predicts it will bypass Touch ID in the display like we’ve been expecting.
According to MacRumors, Kuo claims Apple won’t embed the fingerprint scanner into the display like earlier reports stated. Instead, it will rely on some other form of biometric sensor like facial scanner calling it “3D sensing for facial recognition.”
