Before the Galaxy S8 launched, rumors suggested Samsung would place the fingerprint sensor beneath the display. Of course, that didn’t happen, and it doesn’t sound like the Galaxy Note 8 will feature a fingerprint sensor beneath the display either.
Thanks to new technology introduced by Qualcomm, however, there’s a very good chance the Galaxy S9 will.
