Last week, T-Mobile started rolling out what it claimed was a routine maintenance update for the Galaxy S8 — but it appears it’s a little more than that.

According to a support document uploaded to the carrier’s website, the upgrade also bundles compatibility for Google’s virtual reality platform, Daydream.
However, Android Police believes that Big G’s still yet to institute support for the Galaxy S8 on its end, as the Daydream application is nowhere to be found on the Play Store.
There’s no point attempting to sideload the application, either; you’ll quickly be prompted with a message, which can’t be bypassed, reading “incompatible phone.”
